About Lyric

Hi there! I’m an alumna from the UNC Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media (go Tar Heels!) with a bachelor of arts in media and journalism. I am currently located in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love being a photographer alongside my full-time job as a Senior UX designer for Deloitte Digital!

As someone who grew up with a 24-pack of Crayolas by my side at all times, I’ve always had a knack for creativity and expression. Through my diverse experiences, I am constantly seeking ways to enhance my visual communication skills to spearhead ideas that Invigorate and challenge me. As a UX designer in the government and public services space, I am dedicated to creating delightful experiences for leading agencies. I’ve been lucky to lead human-centered design engagements with public sector clients such as Epilepsy Foundation, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Veteran’s Health Administration, and the Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid.

I’m curious about all things design and how to make the world a more effortless and accessible place with it. I am particularly interested in how human-centered design impacts users in our ever-changing digital world. I have a wide range of skills - from product research, to analysis, to wireframing/prototyping, and to creating design systems. I look forward to further expanding on my product design skills in my professional experiences.
